Ingredients – Jackfruit Indian Stir Fry
Jack & Chill Frozen Young Jackfruit Pulled 300Gms
1 teaspoon cumin seeds
½ teaspoon Turmeric powder
½ teaspoon Red chilly powder (optional)
1 tablespoon coriander powder
½ teaspoon Amchur powder
1 teaspoon Ginger paste
1 teaspoon Green Chilly paste (can adjust according to spice level)
1 teaspoon Garlic paste
1 large Onion chopped lengthwise
1 pinch of dried fenugreek leaves (Kauri Methi)
Oil
Salt
Method – Jackfruit Indian Stir Fry
Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a pan. When it’s heated up, add cumin seeds followed by ginger paste, garlic paste, and green chilly paste. Fry them until the raw smell goes. Add the chopped onions and saute until it changes color. Now add the slightly defrosted jackfruit into this and fry for a few seconds. Now add coriander powder, Red chilly powder, turmeric powder, amchur powder, and Kasuri methi. Close the pan with a lid and leave it to absorb the flavors for 5-10 minutes. After 10 minutes, open and give it a final stir to make sure it is dry. This can now be enjoyed with rice or chapati.
